Activities done/ On going activities

                      

1.    LRC project               Data entry on Land Record computerization project, C/O Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur  has been going on   since January 2004 and first phase of data entry on myadi land has been completed in unix OS & Oracle RDBMS with GIST terminals. Now correction is going on for exporting to sql server to make entire database available in the INTERNET. 

2.   Mushroom production centre under RSVY project has been functioning.

3.   2 nos of Vermi-compost units under RSVY schemes have been established.

4.   President Award winner for working in Rural Prosperity  This year the President & Secretary of Priya SHG viz. Smti Rajoshree Das and Smti Tutumoni Gam have been honourd by H.E. President of India the fellowship  of Tata Jamsethji National Virtual Academy on Rural Prosperity 2006 at Hyderabad.

5.   Rongali Mela                 An exhibition cum sale was organized by Priya SHG at   North Lakhimpur town with products of  women’s  SHGs of the district during  Rangali bihu ( April 2004) .

6.  Screen printing               Training cum production

7. Training program are regularly organized to rural women SHGs on mushroom cultivation, vermin compost, organic farming etc.

8.  Social plantation in the campus of BDO, Lakhimpur Block.

9.  Bhogali Mela 2005          Organised SHG’s exhibition cum selling on ethnic products , traditional food etc during bhugali bihu ( January  9th to 11th January 2005).  

9.  Participated in the exhibition of World Computer Literacy date

10. Participated workshop on How NRI ( Assam) can be helpful to CIC at Nagaon.

 11. Participated Assam - Arunachal Cultural Exchange programe at Buddha Mahootsav, Tawang Arunachal Pradesh.

12. Participated in the Organic exhibition and got Gold medal in mushroom production category.

13. Participated in the Sustainable Agriculture delivered by Peggy Carswell, Sustainable Network, Canada.
