Primary focus

1. Primary focus at the time of inception – Promoting enriching and conserving , traditional folk culture of the Missing Tribe
2. Gradually the focus shifted to providing support for Empowerment of rural people and other disadvantaged section of rural areas in various areas such as income generation , disaster preparedness ,Micro-credit, awareness generation , capacity building strengthening community institution etc and also providing consultancy services to govt. deptts., agencies etc.

Thrust  area

      -        Promotion of SHGS; providing capacity building inputs credit linkage; linkage with SGSY

      -        Developing institutions for strengthening  SHG movement .

-         Linkage of SHGS with various line department .

-         Support of small CBOS in project formulation including counseling

-         Awareness generation on Disaster preparedness, health (general ,TB, Leprocy, Malaria ), Road safety , consumer rights.

 FUTURE  PROGRAMMES =

1. A New bulletin for rural poor & SHGS
2. Communing consumer clubs in Schools
3. Direct support to SHGS through Micro –credit / Micro finance
4. Networking with various line department at the district level including institution state govt , central govt ,foreign donors and NGOS to promote peoples  action and application of appropriate technology.
