The Awarenes camp on ASHA was held at the office of the Gaon Burah C/O Circle Office, Nowboicha on 29th June 2005. 

The ADO, Doolahat , ADO Nowboicha, all VLEW of the two agricultural circles, Gaon Burah ,farmers, SHG were present. 

Several farmers could not attend the meeting due to chaka bandh on that day.

The Awareness camp was initiated by ADO Nowboicha with the various prospects of the ASHA projects and steps taken by

 Govt through ASFAC for the larger benefits of the farmers. The key note address was given by Sri, D. Dutta DIO,NIC Lakhimpur 

with the objectives of the ASFAC, ASHA portals, the benefits available for farmers through advanced weather reports, market 

price , modern agriculture technology , various schemes, R& D institutions and the services to make the entire process " a 

single window system". CIC operator Smti Popy Bora spoke about the various patterns of membership and facilities available 

in the respective membership categories. ADO Doolahat spoke about the ASHA and encourage the farmers to become educated 

to develop themselves.  A nos of prosperous farmers spoke about their activities and the facilities/ information necessary 

for them to enhance their productivities. Later all visited the CIC centre located nearby in the BDO's office and were familiarized 

about the AHSA portals and the various facilities available there.
