The awareness camp cum orientation camp on ASHA was hold at Boginadi block in the office chamber of BDO, Boginadi under the chanimanship of Sri Naren Pawe, BDO Baginodi today on dated 1st July and attended by Dist Agriculture officer, District Veterinary Officer, Sub Divisional Fishery Officer, ADO Boginadi, DIO NIC in addition to the various officials of line departments, PPS, SHG, GaonBurah, PRI etc. Around 200 nos of farmers/ SHG/ PPS's member/ farmers etc. participated in the awareness camp. The objective of the meeting was initiated  by Sri Devi Adhikari CICO, Boginadi. Sri Naren Pawe in his presidential address encouraged all the participants to become knowledgeable with  various schemes, govt initiatives, useful data etc. and encourage them to visit CIC to avail the benefits of INTERNET. He spoke the various objects of the CIC and the responsibilities of the CIC operators to provide useful information to rural public. He spoke about the ASHA project.  Sri Dibyajit Dutta, DIO, NIC Lakhimpur spoke about the background , aims & objectives of ASHA and the various steps taken in the project to eradicate the persistent problems faced by present cultivators. He encouraged the farmers to improve their technical skill, build up their capacity and to become modern skill farmers. DAO , DVO , ADO Baginodi , SDO Fishery Officer spoke about the various prospects of the new initiatives and encouraged all villagers to involve with the project .  Sri Debendra HAzarika CICO Telahi spoke about the various membership types with  their respective facilities.  A nos of SHGs/ PPS and other farmers spoke about  various the problems  faced by them and their  expectations from the new initiatives. On the feedback session , 90% said that they were highly benefited with the awareness back. 9 Nos of farmers enroll their membership of silver.

         The meeting lasted around 3 hours with plenty discussion and ended with vote of thanks from Smti Manika B. PAtir CICO Baginodi.
