NAAC Team Visit:-

NAAC Peer Team comprising of three members- Prof. P.K. Sahu, Deputy chairman of the Planning Board, Govt. of Orissa as the chairman, Prof. R.P. Tiwary, Dean of Earth Science & Head, Deptt. Of Geology, Mizoram University, Aizwal as the member co-ordinator and Dr. Siddalingaswamy, co-ordinator of Collegiate Education, govt. of Karnataka as the member visited the college on 14^th,15^th and 16^th Sept’04 for assessment and accreditation.

The college family welcomed the honourable members warmly accompanied by the guard of honour by the NCC Cadets. At first they interacted with Principal, Mohendra Bora, met with parents and alumni. They visited all the departments and interacted with the teachers. They interacted with the students, visited the support service like ICGC, TDC, SSRC, NATYA CHARCHA, Herbarium, Plantation, Playground, Auditorium, Canteen, Hostels etc. they also enjoyed the colourful cultural programme and applauded the same. Finally, they handed over the NAAC Report to the Principal in the valediction ceremony. After a month, we received the letter of accreditation in which the college was awarded ‘B’ Grade.
